The Department of History and Theory of EconomyThe Department of History and Theory of Economy was founded in 2000. Today, the Department employs 15 highly-qualified teachers, including 3 professors and 7 associate professors (2 doctors and 10 candidates of economic science), 4 senior teachers, 1 assistant. Teachers of the Department teach the History of Economics and Economic Thought, the History of Economic Thought of Ukraine, Institutional Economics, Contemporary Economic Theory, Economic History, History of Economic Thought, which belong to the content of the fundamental economic courses that form the theoretical basis of the successful assimilation of special economic knowledge.
The Department has a graduate (2002) and postgraduate (2003) programs in "Economic Theory and History of Economic Thought." During this time, 2 doctoral and 15 candidate's theses were defended. Department staff prepared 15 training and educational textbooks and manuals, 5 monographs and 2 collective monographs for the educational process of teaching subjects. Bachelor-level disciplines
