Educational and methodical activities of the Department are aimed at improving and developing higher education in the field of economics and public administration, taking into account the needs and requirements of the market of educational services. It provides for solving the problem of improving the quality of training of future specialists in public administration on the basis of a comprehensive approach to improving the content, organization and methods of teaching.

The staff of the department has prepared and teaches 23 disciplines of bachelor's level and 9 disciplines of master's level of training.

Academic disciplines taught by the department are provided with textbooks, manuals, lecture notes, slide courses.
