Theory of Economic Analytics

The Scientific School of the Theory of Economic Analytics was established within the Department of Economic Theory, under the direction of Doctor of Economics, Professor Kyrylenko. Professor Volodymyr Kyrylenko, PhD, Associate Professor Mykola Halaburda, and PhD, Professor Olena Tkachenko. This school was formally constituted in 2018, coinciding with the introduction of the new educational and professional programme, ‘Economic Analytics’, at the national level in Ukraine and within the university. Since its inception, it has fulfilled all core functions of scholarly activity, encompassing research, the dissemination of knowledge, and the ongoing development of scientific and pedagogical expertise.

The school's foundation is formed by distinguished scholars such as Doctor of Economics, Professor Volodymyr Kyrylenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksii Melnyk, Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandra Moskalenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor Iryna Radionova, PhD, Professor Olena Tkachenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor Iryna Uninets, PhD, Associate Professor Denys Verba, PhD, Associate Professor Mykola Halaburda, PhD, Professor Nina Yevdokymova, PhD, Associate Professor Oleksandr Koliadych, PhD, Associate Professor Andrii Kotenok, PhD, Associate Professor Dariia Kotenok, PhD, Associate Professor Iryna Kulaha, PhD, Associate Professor Dmytro Khokhych, among others.

Over 40 specialists from KNEU, other research institutions, and higher education establishments across Ukraine contribute to its research agenda. The key research areas within the Scientific School of the Theory of Economic Analytics encompass:

- Methodological foundations of economic analysis and evaluation
- Theoretical and applied macroeconomic analytics
- Sustainable development analytics
- Institutional analytics
- Microeconomic evaluation
- Analytics and monitoring of economic dynamics
- Economic analysis of politics and law
- Financial and legal analytics.

The outcomes of these research activities are integrated into educational and professional programmes at all levels, including Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral (PhD) studies.
Furthermore, the Scientific School of the Theory of Economic Analytics plays a pivotal role in training the next generation of scholars, including Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctors of Science. Through this process, the Department of Economic Theory has cultivated a dynamic and innovative research community that actively advances knowledge and its application in socio-economic processes. These efforts enhance both the scholarly reputation of KNEU and the overall quality of student education.
